Time of Change

Keith gave me a quote that had me reflect for awhile. It came to me as I was throwing on the pottery wheel. "In times of change learners inherit the earth; while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists."

Peace and Love

Thank you Kathy Fox for the quote "Peace and Love". I had lots of fun. It is hard to see in the photo but there are multiple blue peace signs under the texture and face.

A Small Group

Often when I am fighting an uphill battle I imagine myself in a small boat adrift in a vast ocean. Yes, occasionally the boat is leaking.:) The quote is from Joy Ray-1.     "Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead. The painting came easily however photographing it was a pain. the sky is purple and the sea is a rich green. There are 3 tiny figures on the boat throwing their light out into the darkness.

Going Dark

Charlene shared a quote from Hannabal ..."Some places are stained now. Some people, too." I instantly had an image in my head and the painting was quickly completed.

Time Brings Change

Anonymous left "Time brings change". I want to add a little more depth to the skull but it may take a few days for my paste to dry.I am thinking I will drybrush some teal on the skull.
