I really love this pose and decided to create a painting of her in fabric. I will be adding the details using red string. The wood of the panel shows through the background.

love, love, love this! the dark shape on the bottom really balances out the larger lighter space above it and i like the way the figure is placed to connect them.i like all the curves both in the background and figure.the colors are great. it seems very "classic" in subject matter so far and very feminine.
