Marks of love

I tore paper and splashed paint and then she appeared, this bowed woman at the bottom of my panel. I have painted her very thickly. I created the leaf necklace and the additional leaves. I plan to add images of a pregnant belly, stretch marks, and other marks of motherhood. I have now discovered that emerald is the color of childbirth and the stone was thought to ease childbirth.

I like this one very much. I'm not sure how to word it, but it makes me think of an earth spirit bearing a child she knows she won't be able to keep. Not really sure why, maybe the woman's pose.
