Marks 8 and 9

I really loved the Minoan bird in my excavation piece so I decided she deserved a mark. I then had all these paint scrapings from cleaning off my palette so I glued them down. I then tooled a golden calf and thought the past could be talking to a 20th century mark maker, Jackson Pollack.

I too love the bird. For me the golden calf seems to be floating. I do like this one.

i had wondered if the bull was a minotaur before i read your explaination. an interesting image, the bull is a very male symbol, a contrast to the goddess images and maybe sheds another light on your statements about beauty.
